Comments:
Andy & Malinda returned from their European vacation bearing all kinds of Cadbury sweets.
They also brought the sweet news that our good friend Cedric Barre will be returning to
San Francisco this year, perhaps for a more permanent stay! Details to follow as we
learn more.

The neverending saga of Where On The Track You May Stand While Not Running continued
tonight. The soccer field in its entirety was declared Off Limits, which led us to try
starting our reps on the opposite side (200m in), with Andy standing near the long-jump
area. At this point Off Limits was expanded to include anything inside lane 1, so
after finishing our sprints we veered immediately rightward across lanes 2-8 so as to
avoid being caught Standing On The Track Whilst Not Running. The area outside lane 8
has been declared an acceptable Recovery Area, provided that runners do not loiter there
for excessive periods of time. Additionally, stopping for a brief drink at the water
fountains is being tolerated, though not for groups larger than 3. Smaller groups must
disperse immediately after drinking.

At last report there is still a 1m square area near the public restrooms that is
considered Acceptable For Extended Periods of Standing In While Not Running, but by this
time next week Team in Training are likely to have commandeered the area and
established a round-the-clock watch to defend it against intruders.
